2008 IBC

IBC (International Broadcasting Convention) is the world famous exhibition of broadcasting and television industry which is also the largest scope exhibition in this industry all over the world. 2008 IBC held in Holland, Amsterdam from Sep.12th to Sep. 16th, attracting about 1400 enterprises to join. Almost 49250 people have gone to visit the exhibition; this number is the largest one in the exhibition history.

The 40 square meters layout of SMiT was a remarkable booth with specialized decoration. With red, white and black as the keynote color. At the exhibition, SMiT launched the latest IDTV, HD MEPG4, DVB-T, STB, Module and the CAM cards.

The new Professional CAM which was composite with NDS, and the two kind of secure cards: Conax Chipset Paring CAM and Viaccess ACS3.0 CAM indicate that SMiT will offer more secured technology and solution for our client. Meanwhile the static CI+ Secure CAM and the dynamic demonstrate of CI+ Conax CAM Demo attracts many clients.

Another high point of the displays is MPEG4 DTT HIGH DEFINITION TV box. GB310-T TV box was already setting the pace in the market. The PVR/MHEG5/CI/CI+/chipset paring CA insert DVB-S2 COMB which can be used in more country of Europe, attract many client stop by the booth to ask question about the products.

Meanwhile, the multimedia mobile TV solution show in the booth can support mobile TV standard: DVB-H、DVB-T、T-DMB、CMMB, and have many new function such as GPS、PMP、WIFI, and so on. This new product shows the RESEARCH-and-development capabilities of SMiT.

Through the exhibition, there are over 150 clients from German, Austria, Czech, Slovakia, Switzerland, Britain, Holland, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Poland, Lithuanian and Russia, and so on. We also strength the cooperation relationship with IDTV STB product to optimize the resources and bringing into full play the role to our advantage in competition.
